Howard Douglas Hoey, Jr., 63, of Shippensburg passed away the morning of Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his home.
He was born on November 22, 1958 in Milford, CT, a son of the late Howard D. and Evelyn R. (Tarner) Hoey, Sr.
Howard was a United States Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed his trips to the Carlisle Barracks and loved his German shepherd, Buddy.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda S. (Marshall) Hoey; two children, Holly C. Hoey-Johnson and husband Kevin of Berryville, VA and Jon E. Hoey and partner Sylvia Grove of Harrisburg; and a grandson, Clyde Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or service at this time.
