Helen L. Tosten, 83, of Chambersburg, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the Shook Home.
She was born July 11, 1932 in Hopewell Twp., Cumberland County. Helen was a daughter of the late John I. and Helen G. Shuman Rebok.
She was a member of the Ridge Church of the Brethren, Shippensburg and the First United Methodist Church in Chambersburg. Helen retired from Knouse Foods, Chambersburg after over 45 years of employment. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, watching WWE Wrestling, and the Baltimore Orioles.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ray W. Tosten whom she married August 8, 1952 and died June 18, 2012. A sister, Edith C. Holtry is also deceased.
Helen is survived by one daughter, Helen G. Bulka and her husband Michael of Chambersburg, two sisters, M. Ruth Nye, and Pauline B. Bender both of Newburg, one brother, John C. Rebok of Newburg, two grandsons, Michael R. Bulka of Chambersburg and Brandon L. Bulka and his wife Julianne of Carlisle, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ridge Church of the Brethren, Shippensburg with The Rev. Harold E. Yeager officiating. Burial will be held in the Ridge Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg and one hour prior to the services in church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ridge Church of the Brethren, 1095 Ridge Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
