Helen Russell Turner

Helen Kathryn Russell Turner, 91, of Shippensburg, passed away, Thursday, July 27, 2017 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born October 30, 1925 in Shippensburg, PA. She was a daughter of the late Raymond H. and Helen M. Smith Varner.

Kathryn retired from the Letterkenny Army Depot.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward W. Russell; second husband, Casper Turner; one daughter, Gloria Nickey, one brother and five sisters.

She is survived by one son, Charles E. (Carol) Russell of Shippensburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Markle. Burial will be held in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
