Helen Bosserman

Helen Booz Bosserman, 86, of Sebring, FL, formerly of Shippensburg, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Sebring. Born August 24, 1925 in Springfield, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Bertha Smith McElwee.
She was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren and the Sebring Church of the Brethren in Florida. Helen was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of West End Fire & Rescue Company in Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald R. Booz, Sr. who died March 5, 1984, Harry F. Burkholder who died August 3, 1993, and The Rev. Willis O. Bosserman who died August 13, 2000. Two brothers and three sisters are also deceased.
She is survived by one son, The Rev. Dr. Donald R. Booz and his wife Cindy of Upland, CA, one daughter, Barbara A. Foster and her husband Marvin of Lebanon, one sister, Sarah Franklin of Shippensburg, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous step-children, step grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Ronald Ludwick. Burial will be in the Ridge Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
