Heath Conrad Ryder, 11 months, of Amberson, passed away on August 2, 2010 at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born on September 10, 2009 in Chambersburg, a son of Mark C. and Shelly M. Rauber Ryder.
Heath was such a happy baby and so full of life. He loved to eat cheese curls and watch Sesame Street and always liked Elmo the best.
He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Mark C. Ryder, Jr., Freddie C. Ryder, and Ayden Mark Ryder, all of Amberson; paternal grandparents, Terry C. Ryder of Amberson, and Deb (Rodney) LeBeau of Orrstown; maternal grandparents, Jack and Sandra Rauber of Shippensburg; paternal great grandmother, Nancy Swartz of Orrstown; two uncles, Terry Lee (Marissa) Ryder and Roy Frank (Barbie) Ryder, both of Amberson; two aunts, Diane (Randy) Forbes of Amberson and Shannon (David) Robinson of Shippensburg; nine cousins; and a number of great aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Jean Rhine; his paternal great grandparents, Norman and Madlyne Ryder; paternal great grandfather, Frank Oscar Swartz; maternal great grandparents, Wilbur Shenk, Sr., Lois (Harry Shaeffer) Shenk, and Nicholas and June Rauber.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the Amberson United Methodist Church at 18889 Amberson Rd. Amberson, PA 17210. The Rev. Edward C. Sharpe will officiate. Viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, at the church.
