Harry Varner

Harry C. Varner, 58 of Pleasant Hall, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born December 6, 1952 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Calvin, Sr. and Jean Porter Varner.
Harry worked for over 30 years at Grove Manufacturing and most recently worked at Volvo in Shippensburg.
He is survived by his wife, Salinda J. Carroll Varner, three sons, Randy C. Varner of Orlando, FL, Eric S. Varner and his wife Melissa of Pleasant Hall, and Shawn D. Varner and his wife Melonie of Shippensburg, four grandchildren, Samantha, Madeline, and Erissa Varner, and Kayla Killian, two brothers, Calvin Varner, Jr. of Roxbury, and Allen Varner of Shippensburg, and one sister, Carol Ann Horton of York.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 10 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Richard A. Frederick. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hall Cemetery. The viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
