Harry Reese

Harry E. Reese, 99, of Shippensburg, went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Green Ridge Village.

He was born March 11, 1918 in Lees Cross Roads, PA. Harry was a son of the late John and Ethel Frehn Reese.

Harry was a self-employed home builder, farmer, worked at SKF Industries and drove school bus. He was a member of the Mainsville Church.

In addition to his parents Harry was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, June L. Evans Reese who passed away April 10, 2016. Two brothers, Ralph and John Reese and three sisters, Betty Coleman, Nancy Eibel and Martha “Phyllis” Alleman are also deceased.

He is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Ed) Wilt, a granddaughter, Tracey (Steve) Wadel, a great-grandson, Lance Wadel all of Shippensburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be Pastor Donald Herb. Burial will be held in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contribution may be made to the Mainsville Church, 1354 Mainsville Rd., Shippensburg, PA 17257.
