Harry W. Rebok, 86, of Newburg, PA died Thursday, October 29, 2015 in the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
Born Sunday, December 16, 1928 in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, he was a son of the late William and Clara Yohe Rebok.
Mr. Rebok attended the Upper Strasburg Church of God. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. During his life, he worked as a laborer for his father, William Rebok, Chester Cook in Pinola, Letterkenny Army Depot, and at Johnnie’s Restaurant in Newburg. His hobbies include listening to preachers, Gospel Music and reading the Bible.
Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Ruth P. Keefer Rebok whom he married March 31, 1951, six sisters; Ethel Keefer, Dorothy Rebok, and Ruth Rebok all of Shippensburg, Mary (Mrs. Nelson) Jones, of Chambersburg, Edna Long, of Camp Hill, and Betty Rebok, of Dover, PA, one brother, Lee Rebok, of Shippensburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Rebok who died January 30, 1993.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. David S. Halteman officiating. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Shippensburg Veterans Council. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
