Harry A. Doyle, Sr., 87, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at UPMC Carlisle.
Born Saturday, July 8, 1933 in Shippensburg, he was a son of the late John F. and Anna Hancock Doyle.
Harry was the owner and operator of Doyle Construction. He was a United Army Veteran serving in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Juanita R. Shope Doyle, whom he married May 21, 1960; one daughter, Tammy S. (Todd) Edwards, Elgin, SC; one son, Harry A. (Cindy) Doyle, Jr., Shippensburg; three grandsons, Tyler J. Doyle, Shippensburg, Matthew J. (Ty) Doyle, Hagerstown, MD, and Gregorey T. Edwards, Elgin, SC; one great granddaughter, Ivy J. Doyle, Hagerstown, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 3, 2020 at 10: 30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Ronald Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, with Military Honors conducted by the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 Minutemen. A viewing will be held Sunday, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
