Harold L. Weaver, 77, of Shippensburg, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born November 5, 1933 in Centerville, Cumberland County; he was a son of the late Frank and Violet Showaker Weaver.
He was the owner and operator of the former Weaver & Weaver Builders in Shippensburg and after retiring he had Weaver’s Woodcrafts. Harold was a member of Freedom in Christ Church, Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra J. Jackson Weaver, three sons; Harold D. Weaver, Sr. and his wife Sharon of Upper Strasburg, Thomas L. Weaver and his wife Deborah, and Frank H. Weaver all of Shippensburg, one daughter, Deborah R. Best and her husband David of Shippensburg, one brother Larry E. Weaver of Shippensburg, eighteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, James L. Weaver who died July 4, 2008 and one brother Richard L. Weaver.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010, in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc. Shippensburg at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. John G. Pogue. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
