Harold J. McCullough, 71, of Shippensburg, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born February 18, 1948 in Newville, PA. Harold was a son of the late John and Minnie Wright McCullough.
He retired from Pyramid Construction, Enola, and was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Harold was a member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 and the Hub City Club, both in Shippensburg. He also was a member of the Hamilton-Myers VFW Post # 6070, Newville. Harold was a 1967 graduate of the Big Spring High School.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L. Foltz McCullough who passed away August 22, 2013. A son, Don McCullough and a sister Leona McCullough are also deceased.
Harold is survived by one son, Shawn M. McCullough and his wife Stephanie and their children Walter and Luke, all of Shippensburg; a niece whom Harold and his wife raised, Amber N. Foltz of Orlando, FL; his companion, Amy R. Day of Newville; four brothers, Maynard L. (Pearl) McCullough and Dale E. (Susan) McCullough, all of Newville, Steven L. (Sharon) McCullough and Michael A. (Cheryl) McCullough; and two sisters, Vonda L. Farlling and Glenda R. (Donald) Beatty, all of Carlisle, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Markle. Burial with military honors conducted by the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 Minutemen will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
