Gretchen Wyrick

Gretchen C. Wyrick, 72, of Shippensburg, left the burdens of this world for eternal peace on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her home.
Born Sunday, February 9, 1941 in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late Harold S. “Blondie” and Hazel Blowers Cressler.
Gretchen was a 1957 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School and a 1959 graduate of Harrisburg Polyclinic Hospital School of Nursing. She was a former Miss Shippensburg and was employed for many years at the Wilmington Medical Center Memorial Division, Wilmington, DE, prior to becoming a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Frank Andrew Wyrick and his wife Rebecca of Bethany Beach, DE and Michael Stewart Wyrick and his wife Carrie of Concord, NC; one daughter, Susan Elaine Andre and her husband Chris of Elizabeth City, NC; one brother, Carl S. Cressler of New Hope; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Paul K. Hauk officiating.
Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
