Grace A Weaver, 92, of Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Shippensburg, died on Sunday, September 12, 2010.
Born on October 24, 1917, in Southampton Twp., Cumberland County, PA, the daughter of the late Robert and Rebecca Stewart Nicholson. A 1935 graduate of Shippensburg High School, she was of the Protestant faith and a former member of the Messiah United Methodist Church, Shippensburg.
Grace was employed by the former Hoffman Mills Co., retiring as a stock room manager. Also, earlier in life, she worked for the Beistle Co.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris J. Sheaffer and husband Earl Sheaffer of Fort Myers, FL., and her son Robert H. Weaver and wife Carol Weaver of Souderton Pa.; five grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle E. Weaver, Sr., who died on February 11, 2001.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 16, 2010, in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
