Grace V. Ott, 81, a resident of the Shippensburg Health Care Center, died on the morning of Thursday, May 8, 2014.
She was born in Shippensburg, on May 15, 1932, a daughter of the late Arvie and Sarah Alexander Martin.
Grace was employed at Shippensburg University, in Housekeeping, for over 23 years, retiring in 1993. Her main focus in life was to work to take care of her family. She was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by three sons, Ray Z. Ott, Jr. of Orrstown, Rickie M. Ott of Shippensburg, and Steven E. Ott of Shippensburg; one daughter, Cathy L. Mendelson of Shippensburg; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Z. Ott, Sr., who died on December 2, 1994; one brother; and one sister.
Her funeral service, entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg, will be private. Interment will occur in the Pleasant Hall Cemetery. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
