Grace Nenninger

Grace M. Nenninger, 78, of Shippensburg, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in Linda Wilson’s Personal Care Home on Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg.
Born September 24, 1931 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Ivan M. and Margaret H. Wingert Kauffman.
She was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God. Grace retired from the Beistle Company and years ago worked at the former Penn Pants Company both in Shippensburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Nenninger who died April 13, 2000 and one brother.
Grace is survived by two sons; Barry L. Nenninger and his wife Debra of Chambersburg, and Dale A. Nenninger of Shippensburg, two daughters; Carol A. Rohrer and her husband Rodney of Three Springs, and Patricia A. Schnell and her husband Dennis of Alexandria, MN, and one brother, Gwynn “Jake” Kauffman of Shippensburg, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010 in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 230 Siloam Rd., Chambersburg at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Dennis Chisholm and The Rev. Stanley Darrah. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in church on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central PA Chapter, 2040 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
