Grace M. Killian, 86, of Shippensburg, died on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Elmcroft.
Born on October 20, 1924, in Mongul, the daughter of the late John D. and Martha J. Mathna Runshaw, Sr.
Grace was employed at Shippensburg University, in the housekeeping department, retiring after over fifty years of employment.
She was a long time member of the Mongul United Brethren Church and its Willing Workers Sunday School class. Grace was very well known for her extensive collection of angels. She always enjoyed making Sunday dinner for her family, as well as holidays surrounded by her grandchildren.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Carma M. (William) Stafford of Shippensburg; her son, Harry E. (Dianne) Killian of Newburg; one brother, John D. Runshaw, Jr. of Shippensburg; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one step-great granddaughter; five great great grandchildren; and two step-great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Killian; a daughter, Mary J. Wright; and two brothers, Merle and Paul Runshaw.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011, at the Mongul United Brethren Church. Rev. John W. Runshaw and Rev. Frank L. Mathna will officiate. Interment will be in the Mongul Cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc. and one hour prior to the service on Monday, at the church.
