Grace Elizabeth Chamberlin, 84, of Shippensburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Green Ridge Village, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Friday, September 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Mary Rhinehart Foltz.
She was a member of the Oakville United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday School Class at both Oakville United Methodist Church and Mainsville United Methodist Church. Grace attended the Newville High School.
She worked at the former U-Wanna-Wash Frock Clothing Factory for many years, and also the Newville Shoe factory.
Grace is survived by her husband of 64 years, Berkley Chamberlin; two daughters, Debra Chamberlin, and Barbara (Larry) Singer; one son, Bryan (Shawnna) Chamberlin; four grandchildren, Amy (Michael) Zimmerman, Kevin (Dana Barry) Singer, Marissa Chamberlin, and Alicia Chamberlin; two great grandchildren, David and Olivia Zimmerman, and two brothers, Wilbur (Dorcas) Foltz, and John E. (Ginny) Foltz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Mark Foltz; and three sisters, Betty (Foltz) Russell, Gladys (Foltz) Hefelfinger, and Vesta Foltz.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with the Rev. Kimberley D. Wadlington officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
