Gloria Wrights

Gloria Grace Wrights, 57, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Friday, November 18, 1955 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Ray W. and Pearl C. Biser Elliott.

Gloria was a 1973 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She was presently employed by the Naval Depot of Mechanicsburg and previously worked at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg.

She attended the Mongul United Brethren Church. She was a social member of the American Legion Post # 830, Mercersburg. Gloria was loved by many in the community and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her daughter, April C. Wrights, two brothers, Larry L. Elliott and his wife Vicki and Ronald R. Elliott, Sr., and his wife Karen all of Shippensburg; her long time friend that she worked with, Ralph “Mac” McKracherne and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard E. Elliott and a nephew Kevin R. Elliott.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Harold E. Yeager officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Viewings will be held Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
