Glenn Walls

Glenn R. Walls, Sr., 89, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born Tuesday, October 4, 1932 in Spring Run, he was a son of the late Walter S. and Ella B. Johnson Walls.

Glenn was of the Protestant Faith. He retired in 1991 from Kraft Foods in Chambersburg.

Glenn was member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #842, and their bowling team, Chambersburg. He was an avid NASCAR fan with his favorite driver being Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Glenn loved and cherished his family and dog, Teddy Bear. Glenn enjoyed eating at the Trojan Restaurant in Chambersburg, and the company of their waitress’s.

He is survived by four children, Roger L. (wife Sharon) Walls, Sr., St. Thomas, Marcia D. Rice, Shippensburg, Cindy A. (husband Keith) Wenger, Chambersburg, and Glenn R. (wife Rebecca) Walls, Jr.; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Kasty Walls, who passed away November 8, 2005; one daughter, Vickie Sue Walls; eight brothers; three sisters; one great-grandson; and one great-great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with the Rev. Harold E. Yeager officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the funeral home.
