Glenn E. Swanger, 90, of Chambersburg, passed away the afternoon of Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
He was born on Sunday, November 30, 1930 in Shippensburg, a son of the late John A. and Celia A. (Nye) Swanger.
Glenn was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He loved to golf, especially in the Letterkenny League at Rocky Spring Golf Course.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra K. Swanger of Chambersburg; one brother, Harold (Sue) Swanger of Shippensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Swanger, a brother David Swanger, and half brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be privately held in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Remembrance Chapel.
