Glenn L. “Butch” Linn, II, 68, of Newburg, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at his home.
Born Monday, June 20, 1955 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Glenn L. and Emma M. Miller Linn, Sr.
Butch was a 1974 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He was the owner and operator of the former Linn’s Remodeling and Electrical Company. He was a SAL Member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223.
He was an avid sports fan, and an avid NASCAR FAN with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver. Butch loved camping in Shade Gap with his family, and loved hunting at his cabin in Three Square Hollow.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna M. Rine Linn, whom he married June 21, 1975; two sons, Tony M. Linn and wife Keri, Chambersburg, and Tracy L. Linn and wife Brandy, Edenville; five grandchildren, Kayleigh M. Linn, Emileigh J. Linn, Kiersten P. Linn, Kynsleigh I. Linn, and Kalissa M. Linn; three sisters, Jean Pennabaker, Rose Jakubic, and Ruthie Dewalt; two brothers, Donnie Linn, and Joey Linn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert "Bob" Linn.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lurgan United Brethren Church, with Pastor Arthur Page officiating. Burial will be at Otterbein Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday, at the Church.
