Gladys H. Rawls, 73, of Means Hollow Road, Shippensburg and formerly of Smyrna, TN died Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 9, 1942 in Charlottesville, VA, she was a daughter of the late Albert Frank and Mary Grace Moore Henwood.
Gladys worked as an LPN at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She is survived by two sons; John S. (wife Karen) Tankersley of Jackson, TN, and Mark A. (wife Kim) Tankersley of Murfreesboro, TN, one daughter, M. Kathy (Fiance’ John Steindl, Jr.) Whisenant of Shippensburg, two sisters; Eunice (husband John) Hamner of Schuyler, VA and Audrey Holmes of Madison, TN, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
