Gerald Magee

Gerald C. Magee, 65, of 101 S. High St., Newburg, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born January 31, 1946 in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Audrey Rhoades Magee.
He was retired from the Pennsylvania Game Commission with 35 years of service. He was also a former Deputy Game Warden.
Gerald was a 1964 graduate of Shippensburg High School and a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his daughter: Terry A. Conyers and her husband Gerald R., Jr., of Shippensburg, two sisters: Shirley M. Magee, of Chambersburg and Julia M. Magee, of Shippensburg, his former wife: Nora J. Magee, of Newville, and one niece and one nephew.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. Paul K. Hauk will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
