George Lloyd “Litte Skinnie” Clough, 79, of Shippensburg, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at his home.
Born Sunday, October 22, 1944 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Harold Lloyd and Dorothy Elizabeth Keefer.
George was a 1962 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. He was of the Protestant Faith.
He retired in 2014 from McCune Lumber Company, Shippensburg, with over 50 years of service. George was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), he enjoyed hunting, woodworking, being in the mountain, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Texas Longhorn fan.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra Joyce Witter Clough whom he married January 23, 1965; one daughter, Pamela J. (John) Inge; one son, Michael H. (Elizabeth) Clough; and one granddaughter, Brianne R. Clough, all of Shippensburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brian L. Clough; one brother, Larry Clough, and one sister, Joyce E. Clough.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with The Rev. Dr. Steve Witter officiating. Burial will be in Mongul Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday, in the funeral home.
