Genevieve E. Parks, 76, of Willow Hill, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in the Emergency Room of the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born September 18, 1937 in Orrstown, PA. Genevieve was a daughter of the late Hubert I. and Bertha A. Secrist Starr.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Westley J. Parks. One brother, Paul Starr, and four sisters, Reta Keefer, Anna Yohe, Janet Starr, and Catherine Starr are also deceased.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Clugston and her husband Charles of Willow Hill, four sons, Dale Parks and his wife Ann of Newburg, Westley Parks, Jr. and his companion Hazel, Darryl Parks, and Karl Parks all of Willow Hill, five brothers, Edward, Hubert, Lewis, and William Starr all of Orrstown, and Vincent Starr of Shippensburg, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 18, 2013 in the Upper Path Valley Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be The Father Paul Theisz. The viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg.
