Gary Lee Martin, 66, of 108 Franks Court, Apt. 17, Collinsville, VA died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at his residence.
Born October 2, 1945 in Shippensburg, PA, Gary was a son of the late Kenneth Charles Martin and Anna Margaret Gontz Martin. Gary was preceded in death by a brother, William Martin.
Gary was of the Christian faith and had served in the United States Army in Vietnam and was a member of AMVET Post 35 in Collinsville, VA. He had retired from retail sales.
Surviving are two daughters, Stephanie Martin Walter and husband, Michael Walter of Lewisberry, PA and Sharon O’Leary-Martin of Sherman Oaks, CA; a son, Michael Martin of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Kenneth C. Martin of Long Beach, CA and Alvin “Mick” Martin of Shippensburg, PA; two grandchildren, Alli Walter and Jacob Walter both of Lewisberry, PA and his significant other, Annette Yong of Rocky Mount, VA.
The family received friends at the residence, 108 Franks Court, Apt. 17, Collinsville, VA Friday, May 18, 2012.
The Martin family was served by the Martinsville Chapel of Norris Funeral Services and Crematory.
