Gail Cressler Frey, 82, of Shippensburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at her home.
Born Friday, October 5, 1934 in Shippensburg, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Donald Ira and Viola Pearl Sprecher Cressler.
Gail was a 1952 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. Gail worked for the former C. V. Co-op and retired in 1999 from the Beistle Company with 27 years of service.
She was a member of the Prince Street United Brethren Church and their Willing Workers Sunday School Class.
Gail is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Earl Frey whom she married May 19, 1956; five sons, Cheyenne (wife Connie) Frey, Shawn (wife Julie) Frey, Kurt (wife Dorothy) Frey, Luther (wife Christine) Frey all of Shippensburg and Brett (wife Alison) Frey of Conifer, CO; one daughter, Jill (husband Ashley) Heberlig of Shippensburg; 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one great grandchild on the way.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mary Ann (husband Richard) Haddad, Dayton, OH, Ettie (husband Thomas) Papoutsis, Shippensburg, Viola (husband Marshall) Epstein, Chambersburg and Karen (husband Gregory) Mohn all of Shippensburg; one brother, Thomas (wife Nancy) Cressler, Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Cressler.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Prince Street United Brethren Church with The Rev. James O. Bolich officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium and one hour prior to the service on Friday in the church.
