Fredith Bert

Fredith W. Bert, 73, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 in Lancaster General Hospital.
Born August 7, 1937 in Newburg, she was a daughter of the late Aaron H. and Vada K. Bistline Graham.
She was a member and a deacon of Conoy Brethren in Christ Church in Elizabethtown. Fredith was a 1955 graduate of the Shippensburg High School and a graduate of the York School of Nursing. She started her career as a Registered Nurse at the Chambersburg Hospital and retired from the Masonic Homes in Elizabethtown. Fredith was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for LOVE INC.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Bert, one daughter, Loretta M. Nissley and her husband Douglass of Elizabethtown, two sons, Keith D. Bert and his wife Beth of Maytown, and Tim A. Bert and his wife Heather of Ambler, two sisters, Priscilla K. Nearons of Shippensburg, and Janet H. Leidig of Newburg, ten grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Fredith was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Graham, and one sister, Thelma Fernbaugh.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, 2011 in the Air Hill Brethren in Christ Church, Chambersburg at 11 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Al Frank and The Rev. Marlin Ressler. Burial will be in Air Hill Cemetery. The viewings will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the church and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
