Florence Z. Horst, 57, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 in the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center due to injuries sustained in a bicycle accident.
Born Monday, May 6, 1957 in East Earl, PA., she was a daughter of the late Henry S. and Edna W. Zimmerman Horst.
She was a member of the Locust Lane Groffdale Conference, Shippensburg.
Surviving are two brothers, Ivan Z. Horst of Shippensburg, and Phares Z. Horst and his wife Eunice of Elkton, KY, three sisters, Marian Z. Nolt and her husband, Edward of Liberty, KY, Edna Z. Tosten and her husband, David of Shippensburg and Mary June Horst of East Earl, eight nephews and seven nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Titus M. Horst.
Her funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Meadow View Mennonite Church, Hair Road, Newville, PA 17241, with Bishop Isaac H. Weaver officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held Sunday, from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the family home at 111 Mountain View Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
