Felicia E. Stevens, 85, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Providence Place in Chambersburg, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Sunday, October 25, 1936 in Cleversburg, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Earl V. Sr. and Curvey Mae Stine Coy.
Felicia was a member of the Cleversburg United Methodist Church where she was a Lay Leader and taught Sunday School Class.
She retired from the Episcopal Home in Shippensburg where she worked as a Nurse’s Aide with 32 years of service.
Felicia volunteered at various organizations in Shippensburg and also the Chambersburg Hospital. She was very active, she loved walking and going to the gym and also loved her sweets. Felicia never met a cat that she didn’t love or want to take into her home.
She was loved by everyone that knew her and will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly M. Rice, Boiling Springs; one son, Edward L. (wife Kimberly) Stevens, Jr., Shippensburg; two granddaughters, Monica M. (husband Jonathan) Weller, Chambersburg and Laurel Rice, Boiling Springs; one great granddaughter, Ashley Arnold, one great grandson, Dakota Tanner, both of Shippensburg; one step granddaughter, Megan Wirick, Shippensburg; five brothers, Clark W. Coy, Shippensburg, Charles D. Coy, Cleversburg, Richard Coy, Shippensburg, Daniel Coy, Orrstown, and Edgar Coy, Cleversburg; two sisters, Linda R. Plasterer, Middletown and Nancy L. Leisher, Cleversburg, and one sister in-law, Gloria Griffie, Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Stevens, Sr., who passed away December 16, 2003; one granddaughter, Shalena Stevens; five brothers, William L., Earl V., Gerald E., Wilbur T., and Dalton Coy.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with the Rev. Craig Loewen officiating. Burial will be in Cleversburg Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
