Evelyn Seibold

Evelyn N. Seibold, 94, of Shippensburg, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Green Ridge Village, Newville.

Born September 10, 1919 in Milton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Cyrus Artman Neitz and his wife, Rebecca Gundrum Neitz.

Prior to her marriage to the Rev. Dr. Robert Seibold in 1959, Evelyn was a supervisor at the Kodak Corp. in Rochester, NY.

She was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church and had attended Roberts Wesleyan College in Chili, NY.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 53 years; The Rev. Dr. Robert Seibold, one sister; Dorothy Mueller, of Rochester, NY, and a number of nieces and nephews, including a niece; Carol Neitz, of Summerdale and a grand niece; Christine Treadwell, of Mechanicsburg.

She was preceded in death by her daughter; Laurie S. Piasecki in July 2013.

A service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Lutheran Church, Shippensburg. The Rev. Dr. Brenda J. Kiser will officiate. Burial will be in Lancaster Rural Cemetery, Lancaster, NY. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services on Monday in the church parlor.

An additional memorial service will be conducted Saturday, December 28, 2013 in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lancaster, NY at 1:00 PM. The Revs. Jack Printzenhoff and John Swanson will officiate. A visitation will follow the service.
