Evelyn R. Bock, 55, of Shippensburg, died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at home.
She was born January 2, 1960 in Chambersburg, PA. Evelyn was a daughter of the late Noah J., Sr. and Sarah Neff McMullen.
She was a member of Messiah United Methodist Church, Shippensburg. For many years Evelyn worked as a Nursing Supervisor at Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg and most recently was a Nursing Supervisor at Green Ridge Village, Newville. She was a 1994 graduate of the University of Florida and a 1977 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Chris H. Bock, two sons, Phillip C. and Justin G. Bock of Shippensburg, one daughter, Kami R. (Joshua) Moore and their daughter Chelsea R. of St. Robert, MO, five brothers, Noah J., Jr., Robert W., Glenn L., Kenneth E., and Leonard L. McMullen, four sisters, Edith Shindledecker, Mary Tosten, Betty Suders, and Freda McMullen, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in the Messiah United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Steven M. Livermore and The Rev. Dr. Francis H. Norton. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg.
