Evelyn P. Beidel, 96, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Monday, December 11, 2023 at Jones Acres Assisted Living, Arnold, MD.
She was born on May 14, 1927 in Franklin County, a daughter of the late Bruce Albert and Jennie Elizabeth (Wible) Poe.
Evelyn worked at the Beistle Company and James Burd Elementary School cafeteria, retiring in 2007. She attended the Oasis of Love Church in Shippensburg.
She is survived by one daughter, Shari F. Myers and her fiancé Kurt Brandquist of Annapolis, MD; two grandchildren, Brooke Inch and her husband Ted of Richmond, VA, and Brent Myers and his girlfriend Haylee Holsopple of Chambersburg; and one great-grandson, Wyatt Inch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Beidel; and several siblings.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Parklawns Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ed Schale officiating. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
