Esther H. Wiser, 91, of Walnut Bottom, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Monday, October 25, 1926 in Southampton Township, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Noble and Clara B. Crusey Kelley.
She was a graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
Esther was a member of the Shippensburg Church of Christ, and a member of the South Newton Township Volunteer Fire Company.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne E. (wife Debbie) Wiser, Shippensburg, Gregory M. (wife Shelly) Wiser, Walnut Bottom; three daughters, Donna J. (husband Rodney) Myers, Kimberly E. (husband Darrell) McKenrick, and Paula M. (husband Daniel) Burkett, all of Shippensburg; daughter in-law, Bonnie Wiser, Carlisle; six grandchildren Lenny ( wife Kathy) Dietz, Jennifer (husband Doug) Hays, Sarah Wiser, Brian Wiser, Amanda Wiser, and Dylan McKenrick; five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne E. Wiser, who passed away June 23, 1991, one son, Robert E. Wiser, three sisters, Mae March, Alda Will, and Vesta Alleman, and three brothers, Willis, Anthony, Sr., and Paul Kelley.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
