Esther Creamer

Esther M. Creamer, 99, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the Shook Home in Chambersburg.
She was born on Monday, March 31, 1924 in Shippensburg, a daughter of the late Clarence C. and Grace (Cover) Smith. She married Harold L. Creamer on January 30, 1943. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2021.
Esther was a member of A.A.R.P. #2525 and a longtime member of the Shippensburg First Church of God, where she participated in the KYB Sunday School Class. She enjoyed baking and sewing, but most of all loved and cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Delores C. (Garry) Delancy of Shippensburg; four grandchildren, Erin (Robert) Hummer, Brodie (Pamela) Hutchins, Brad (Kathy) Hutchins, and Kyle (Michelle) Delancy; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Janet L. Uglow.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Doris C. Hutchins; and two brothers, Galen A. “Tubb” Smith and Paul Smith
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shippensburg First Church of God. Pastor Gary Hornbaker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shippensburg First Church of God, 121 E. King St., Shippensburg, PA 17257.
