Enos Nolt Zimmerman, 77, of Orrstown, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at his home.
Born Sunday, January 28, 1940 in Clay Township, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Abraham B. and Ada M. Nolt Zimmerman.
Enos was a member of the Oakville Mennonite Church. He was a lifelong farmer.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Irma Weber Zimmerman, whom he married September 17, 1960; 12 children, Marianne, Leon, Jeannette, Dorcas, Chester, and Vernon Zimmerman all at home, Lawrence (Elsie) Martin, Orrstown, Catharine (Galen) Wise, Denver, Sarah (Charles) Sanders, Orrstown, Robert (Crystal) Derr, Memphis, MO, Rebecca (Harvey) Burkholder, Mertztown, and Edith (Loren) Hurst, Mifflinburg; seven siblings, Paul (Lydia) Zimmerman, Rutledge, MO, Harvey Zimmerman, Bethel, Levi (Leah) Zimmerman, Rutledge, MO, David (Alma) Zimmerman, Ephrata, Ada (Lloyd) Sensenig, Annville, Titus (Geraldine) Zimmerman, Hashel, OK, and Anna (Marvin) Reiff, Manheim; one foster sister, Carmen Forney, Lebanon, three sisters-in-law, Edith Zimmerman, Lebanon, Julia Zimmerman, Memphis, MO, and Arlene Zimmerman, Ephrata; 22 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, William Zimmerman; one grandson, Kenneth Zimmerman; three sisters, Mary, Alta, and Frances (husband Amos) Zimmerman; and five brothers, Jonas, Noah (wife Joanna), Abram (wife Edna) George, and Ivan (first wife Marian) Zimmerman.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fairview Mennonite Church 111 Elco Drive, Myerstown, PA, 17067 with Ministers Leon High, Lester Martin, Carson Musser, and Stanley Horst officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Mennonite Church Cemetery, Myerstown. A viewing will be held Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the family home, 10894 Weaver Road, Orrstown, PA 17244.
