Emily Corinne Tsambiras

Emily Corrine Tsambiras, 40, of Boiling Springs, departed this life on the morning of Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center.

She was born on September 1, 1984, in Waynesboro, a daughter of Curtis E. and Laura A. (Brinton) Blubaugh. Emily was a 2002 graduate of Shippensburg Area High School; a 2006 graduate of Temple University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in marketing; and a 2011 graduate of Penn State Harrisburg, where she earned her M.B.A. She married John A. Tsambiras on June 4, 2010, in Mechanicsburg.

Emily worked at the Defense Logistics Agency in New Cumberland for over fifteen years, as part of the command staff. In her free time she loved running, completing many marathons over the years. She also was greatly concerned with animal welfare and adopted many dogs throughout her life. Emily also enjoyed reading, helping people, and most importantly spending time with her family, especially her children.

In addition to her parents and husband of fourteen years, she is survived by her children, Isla K., Thaddeus V., Beatrix A., and Harlow C. Tsambiras, all of Boiling Springs; her sister, Julie A. Hardy and husband Lamont of Shippensburg; and several additional extended family members; cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Bruce Levy will officiate. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday afternoon at the funeral home.
