Emanuel Z. Stoltzfus, 80, of Newburg, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at his home.
He was born on Monday, August 30, 1943 in Bird-in-Hand, Lancaster County, a son of the late Paul A. and Annie B. Zook Stoltzfus. Emanuel was preceded in death by his wife, Malinda S. Stoltzfus on March 2, 2020.
Emanuel was the former owner and operator of Manny’s Tree Service in Lancaster. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by three children, Katie L. Stoltzfus of Honey Brook, Simeon S. (Mary Glick) Stoltzfus of Millersburg, and Lena S. (Christian G.) Zook of Newburg; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and six siblings, Mary Z. Fisher of Conneautville, Daniel Z. (Lydia) Stoltzfus of Bird-in-Hand, Jacob Z. (Rebecca) Stoltzfus of Lancaster, Omar Z. (Sara Katherine Flaud) Stoltzfus of Ronks, Fannie Z. Ellenburg of Harrisburg, and Sadie Z. (Ben K.) Stoltzfus of New Holland.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Phares Z. (Arie) Stoltzfus of Blain; and one infant granddaughter, Sarah Rose Stoltzfus.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the residence of Christian and Lena Zook, 425 Enola Road, Newburg, PA 17240. Burial will be in the Upper Mill Creek Cemetery in Leola, PA. A viewing will be held from the time of this notice until the time of the service at the Zook residence.
The family kindly requests the omission of flowers.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg.
