Ella Kalif

Ella M. Kalif, 86, of Heritage Ave, Shippensburg, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born August 18, 1924 in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Kelley Belle Millwood Fowler.
Ella attended the Shippensburg Independent Baptist Church, and retired as a seamstress in 1972 after 12 years of service. Ella loved and enjoyed helping other people.
Surviving is her husband of 59 years, Frederick A. Kalif, one son, Alexander James Kalif, Shippensburg and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 31, 2011 at 6:00 PM in the Shippensburg Independent Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth M. Waggoner Jr. officiating. Burial will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday in the church.
