Edward Ice

Edward J. Ice, 64, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the morning of Monday, July 15, 2024, at his home.

He was born on October 30, 1959, in Takoma Park, MD, a son of the late Fremont and Lois A. (Morton) Ice.

Ed worked in the food service industry throughout his life. He enjoyed riding his bike, working on bikes, hanging out with his friend Terry, at the bike shop, and tinkering with motors. Ed also loved spending time with his family and going to Lake Raystown.

He is survived by two brothers, Steven L. Ice of Altoona and James E. Ice and wife Melinda of Saxton; one sister, Ronda Kay Varner and husband Lowery, Jr. of Shippensburg; two nephews; four nieces; and several great nephews and nieces.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents.

His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or funeral service. Interment will also be private.
