Edna Elizabeth Yeager, 70, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at her home.
Born Sunday, April 8, 1951 in Newburg, she was a daughter of the late John R. and Lydia Henderson Thomas.
Edna was of the Protestant Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Roy F. Yeager, Jr., Shippensburg; one daughter, Lisa M. Martin; two sons, James E. Woods, and Paul L. Yeager, all of Shippensburg; five grandchildren, Mark D. Strock, Jr, Shippensburg, Harley E. Johnson, Biglerville, Avanna N. Martin, Jonathan B. Martin, Preston E. Martin, all of Shippensburg; three great grandchildren, Avian Johnson, Shippensburg, River Hummel, Chambersburg, and Veronica Johnson, Shippensburg; one sister, Sarah Warren, Shippensburg; and three brothers, Harry Thomas and Rick Thomas, both of Chambersburg, and Paul Tom (wife Marie) Thomas, Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Millhouse; and three brothers, Donald, Benjamin, and John Thomas.
Edna’s graveside service was held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Dale A. Detweiler as officiant.
