Earl Page Mays, 86, Shippensburg Mobile Estates, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
Born July 6, 1924 in Lynchburg, VA, he was a son of the late Moses and Francis Johnson Mays.
Earl retired as a foreman from SKF Industries and was a United States Navy veteran serving during WWII.
Surviving are two daughters; Deborah P. Fitzsimmons and her companion Richard Johnson, Jacqueline R. Warren and her husband Charles, one granddaughter; Samantha S. Statler, two grandsons; Ted W. Hile and Andrew P. Warren all of Shippensburg, also surviving are seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen L. Strayer Mays, an infant son, David A. Mays and a brother, Clyde Mays.
A graveside service with military honors conducted by the Shippensburg VFW and American Legion Posts will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Chuck Ryan officiating.
Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asera Care Hospice 4813 Jonestown Road Suite 211 Harrisburg, PA 17109
