E. Ann Angle-Freeland, 94, formerly of Shippensburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on the evening of Friday, March 23, 2018, at the Brethren Home at Cross Keys, New Oxford, PA.

She was born on January 12, 1924, in York, PA, the daughter of the late Charles Robert and Esther Kathleen Julius Brown. Ann was a 1942 graduate of York City High School, a 1944 graduate of Shippensburg State Teachers College (Shippensburg University), which is also from where she earned her Master’s Degree in 1962.

Ann was an elementary school teacher with the South Middleton School District in Boiling Springs for twenty-six and one half years. She was member of the First Church of God in Shippensburg, and also the Calvary Baptist Church in York. Ann was also a member of the Shippensburg Historical Society, AARP, PSEA, and PSERS. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, her Bible, and spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Sally A. Feeser and husband Daniel of Abbottstown; two grandchildren, Kevin L. Feeser and wife Cori of East Berlin and Amy R. Witten and husband Jesse of Smithfield, VA; two great grandchildren Mason L. Witten and Taylor L. Feeser; sister-in-law, Rachel Brown of York; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Lee Harris Angle; her second husband, Herbert G. Freeland; her son, Jay Michael Angle, who died on April 19, 1991; and her brother, Robert J. Brown.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the Shippensburg First Church of God. Pastors Greg Wahlberg and Rich Hall will officiate. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg, and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday at the church.

Also, a memorial service will be held in Ann’s honor at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 31, 2018, in the Nicary Chapel, at the Brethren Home at 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shippensburg First Church of God at 121 E. King St. Shippensburg, PA 17257 or the Calvary Baptist Church at 2740 Roosevelt Ave, York, PA 17408.
