Dorothy M. “Dot” Kenyon, 92, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born December 22, 1925 in Waynesboro, PA. Dorothy was a daughter of the late Ernest G. and Clara M. Mixell Busey.
She was a member of the Prince Street United Brethren Church and their Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Dot retired from the former Marden Clothing Company. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 and West End Fire & Rescue.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Baker, second husband, Paul W. Henderson and her third husband, Thomas Kenyon. Four brothers, Chester, Mulford, Herman and Robert Busey and one sister, Verda Rook are also deceased.
Dot is survived by three daughters, Lisa Baker Swartz, Cherie (Stephen) Finkey and Paula (Randy) Farner all of Shippensburg, six grandchildren, Stephanie (Dave) Parson, Robyn Wolfe and her late husband Bill, Joey Finkey, Jesse Henry, CPL Matthew (Molly) Farner and Heather Farner and her companion Corey Van Hart, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Michael Wentz. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
