Dorothy Jean Hamilton, 68, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away the morning of October 28, 2021 at her home.
She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University majoring in Recreational Therapy and has held various positions at institutions within the state. With the assistance of her dogs, Scrabble and Lucy, Dorothy became a pet therapy instructor. Additional interests of Dorothy’s included local history, fishing, reading, and gardening.
She is the daughter of the late Robert O. and Marion J. Hamilton. She is survived by three sisters, Sarah Frotscher of Newburg, Mary Goff of Warren, RI, and Martha Weisz of Lansdowne, PA. One brother, Robert Hamilton, had passed previously.
Final arrangements are being made at the discretion of her sisters.
