Dorothy Grace Diehl, 85, of Pleasant Hall, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Manorcare, Chambersburg.
Born October 12, 1925 in Pleasant Hall, she was a daughter of the late Irvin S. and Grace E. Keefer Gayman.
She recently retired as the owner and operator of Keltner’s Camping Supplies and was a teller for over 20 years at the Orrstown Bank in Orrstown. Dorothy was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God and a graduate of the Chambersburg High School.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack E. Keltner who died July 25, 1990, her second husband, Clyde E. Diehl who died December 17, 2005, and a brother, Robert E. Gayman, Sr. who died August 27, 2003.
Dorothy is survived by a nephew, Robert E. Gayman, Jr. and his wife Susan of Orrstown, two great nephews; Grant and William Gayman both of Orrstown, a step-son, Ray Diehl of Shippensburg, a step-daughter, Judith Culbertson of Shippensburg, and many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Paul K. Hauk. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hall Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
