Dorothy R. “Dot” Aby, 94, of Upper Strasburg, passed away the morning of Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born Wednesday, April 14, 1926 in Roxbury, a daughter of the late John and Rose Reed Myers. She was married to John E. Aby who preceded her in death on December 10, 2011.
Dorothy loved to write, play the guitar, and sing. She was also very fond of dogs.
She is survived by her niece, Linda (Lester) Robinson of Upper Strasburg; sister-in-law, Dorcas Myers; good friend Lester Keefer of Shippensburg; great niece and caretaker, Cassie (Daniel) Kilmer; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
