Doris B. Kohli, 101, of Shippensburg, and formerly of Levittown, PA, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Shippensburg Health Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Born Wednesday, June 1, 1921 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Anthony George and Nellie Cooper Bitter.
Doris was a secretary for Meenan Oil Company’s Bristol office for over 25 years while also being a skilled seamstress and home cook. She also enjoyed painting, traveling in the U.S., and reading. Doris was of the Lutheran Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, E. James Kohli II of Parrish, FL.
She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl K. (husband Robert) Barnhart, Shippensburg; one daughter-in-law, Susan Kohli, Parrish, FL. She was an adoring grandmother to Eric (Nicole) and Todd (Lauren) Kohli and Brooke Rollins (Lee Bauknight), and also a loving great grandmother to Lucas and Zach Kohli, Cooper Bauknight, and Elodie Kohli.
Her funeral services and burial will be private.
