Doris J. Kelley, 74, a resident of the Shippensburg Health Care Center, departed this life on the morning of Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
She was born on August 25, 1943, in Southampton Twp., Cumberland Co., a daughter of the late Herman S. and Margaret P. Stine Kelley.
Doris was a former member of the South Mountain Chapel Brethren in Christ Church, Shippensburg. She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and listening to hymns at home.
Doris was the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by two sister-in-law, Martha Kelley of Shippensburg and Helen Kelley of Ortanna. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her brothers, Herman S., David Leroy, Gerald R., John J., and Walter Kelley; and her sisters, Flossie C. Reath and Thelma George.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, November 6, 2017, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor David Erisman will officiate. Interment will follow in the Cleversburg Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Mountain Brethren in Christ Church at 11 Chestnut Grove Road Shippensburg, PA 17257.
