Donald Stouffer

Donald W. Stouffer, 78, of Lurgan, died Friday, December 31, 2010 in his home.
Born March 31, 1932 in Lurgan, Franklin County, he was a son of the late Otmer F. and Anna P. Coleman Stouffer.
He was a member of the Lurgan United Brethren Church. Donald was past secretary/ treasurer and member of the Lurgan Twp. Lions Club, a member of the Orrstown Masonic Lodge # 262 Free & Accepted Masons, Harrisburg Consistory, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Valley Forest # 145, Shippensburg Scottish Rite Club, Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, Shippensburg, Washington Camp # 645 P.O.S. of A., Orrstown, a life member of the Pleasant Hall Volunteer Fire Company and a past Chambersburg Area School Board member.
He is survived by his wife, Virignia M. Burdge Stouffer, five daughters; Donna F. Yost and her husband Bill of Martinsburg, WV, Brenda G. Arnold and her husband Clinton and Polly J. Frazer all of Chambersburg, Joy L. Arnold and her husband Steve of Newburg, and Robin S. Wilson and her husband Dennis of Fayetteville, one brother, Roy Stouffer of Lurgan, three sisters; Grace Jones of Newburg, Peg Boyd and Judy Wilson both of Lurgan, twelve grandchildren, two great granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Esther Diehl, three brothers; Lloyd Stouffer, Lester Stouffer, and Fred Stouffer, Sr., and a granddaughter, Brianna Arnold.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Lurgan United Brethren Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Richard E. Mose. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg with Masonic services conducted at 7:30 p.m. and a viewing one hour prior to the services in church Tuesday morning.
